Way2Go’s WayFinders Travel Training – Group Workshops and Tours
Do your staff or clients have questions about how to use local transportation services like TCAT, Gadabout, or CarShare? Do you want to try a new transportation option, but don’t know where to start?
Way2Go’s WayFinders will meet with your group, provide an overview of the transportation options in your area, and even take you on a tour using the mode of your choice. Our program has helped newcomers, seniors, people with disabilities, and caretakers navigate the transportation services in the area while gaining greater confidence using them.

Ride Vouchers for Seniors
The County Office for the Aging (COFA) is offering vouchers for the GoGoGrandparent program, making Uber and Lyft rides more accessible and affordable for seniors.

Tompkins County Resource Guide
Residents in Tompkins County can expect a large postcard arriving in their mailboxes with detailed information about how residents can access local services and learn more about what County departments do in support of the community. You can also check out tompkinscountyny.gov/services.

TCAT’s New Tfare Options and FreeRyde Card Application
This is a friendly reminder that as of September 6th, the old mag-stripe Tcards and FreeRyde cards have expired and no longer work on any local TCAT bus. Riders without a pass must pay a full fare of $1.50 each way.

BikeWalk Tompkins hosts bike-related activities all year round that may be of interest.
TCAT Fall Schedule and Ride Guide
TCAT’s fall schedule is in effect through January 11th. Review the TCAT Schedule & Guide or request a printed copy from TCAT. Ride guides specific to Cornell, Ithaca College (and soon for TC3 students) are posted here.
Highlights: More service added for West Hill and to meet incoming students’ needs
- Route 14S (West Hill shopper) is back! Offers one-seat rides with convenient service for West Hill residents to and from southwest shopping. Previously suspended due to shortages.
- Many routes on Route 15 (Southside Shopper) continue daily as Route 32 (Cornell/Airport)with one-seat rides to Cornell and the Airport.
- On Weekends, Route 11 (Ithaca College/Commons)offers convenience with one-seat rides between Ithaca College and southwest shopping by interlining with Route 15 (Southside Shopper).
- Route 90 (Cornell night service) returns with Saturday service.
- Route 92 (Cornell night service) returns.

Your Input on the 2045 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP)
The Ithaca Tompkins County Transportation Council welcomes comments on the plan until October and would like to hear from you about ideas and issues related to transportation in our community. Review the summarized LRTP PowerPoint Presentation and help shape the vision for transportation in our county by taking a short survey (survey open until July 19th).
